Ever since I can remember I have always been creative. My beautiful Nan was an artist and probably my biggest creative influence. I have vivid memories of sitting up at her kitchen counter with a tub of crayons, a palette of watercolour paints, and an artist scrapbook that she had given me. With classical music playing on the radio in the background, I was always encouraged to create and taught little tips and tricks along the way.

As an adult, I have studied graphic design and photography, and have now began the creative journey that is painting. I began experimenting with watercolour and loved that I wasn’t able to control the medium. Something about having to surrender drew me in. While I was pregnant with my fourth child, I used the slow days to research oil painting. I have since been experimenting, playing, learning, and am loving the journey so far.
